General Service Standard and Environmental Packing Systems
ValtekSul offers environmental and non-environmental packing systems.
The non-environmental packing systems also provide goog leakage control, their more simple materials and designs will usually leak at higher levels and will not maintain to long time ultra-low leakage.
The environmental packing systems are designed to provide less than 500 ppm service for typical control valve applications.
The live-loaded packing systems maintain a constant sealing force within the packing box, providing low leakage performance with minimal field adjustment.
Envoronmental packing systems that have been tested and certified, meeting such standards as ISO 15848-1, FCI 91-1 or TA-Luft.
